Genin v.s kage
"I wonder where this guy is..." Angel sat waiting for his sparring partner to arrive he started questioning if this was such a good idea agreeing to spar with someone that he could tell was easily twice if not much more times his strength even though he was trained in taijutsu as a child. Also outmatched in ninjutsu he questioned if he could even touch this mystery man. "This might have been a grave mistake but to late now." smirking he stood up waiting for the moment his opponent walk in to greet him before the battle.

{||} When you don't like something... {||}
Takugan's favorite way to enter a battle. He was transformed into a grain of Iron Sand with the Transformation Technique, and with his magnet release, he manipulated the stray Iron Sand he'd littered all over the ground before the battle, obscuring his form when he transformed into his real shape, and when the Iron Sand subsided, it seemed he had just appeared. The Raikage stood in wait of his opponent to make his move, now about 20 meters in front of him. Takugan did not activate his Sharingan, for he wanted to practice use of his tools and weapons.
Smiling, not particularly in a friendly way, but in the joyous manner of being comfortable in combat, Takugan stood at a massive 6'3", and his weight was 173 pounds. Despite his size, he was one of the most agile, and one of the fastest combatants in the world. He was a 17-year-old Raikage, and the first to found a hidden village, the first to find a form of peace in the age of warring clans. Takugan wore a black hooded robe, which obscured most of his form, save for his eyes. On his left breast was the Uchiha Clan Crest, for he was the Leader of the Uchiha Clan, one of the most powerful clans in existence. On his right breast was the symbol of Kumogakure, that was printed on a normal Shinobi's headband. However, the Raikage wore no headband, for he did not like how he looked when wearing it. Often times, he would take the plate off and sew it onto the front of his usual battle attire, but today was different. He was in a rather somber mood today, and decided he would switch up his style.
The battlefield had nothing special about it, for the two combatants were standing in the middle of the Battle Arena of Kumogakure. The floor of the Arena, as well as all its walls, were made of a special chakra-infused, stone material, that which was meant to protect against the usual weakness of stone, which was Lightning, as the combatants of Kumogakure most often used Lightning Release, and the First did not want the arena to come crashing down in a day. The floor was the color of most concrete, and there were bloodstains all over the place. There were cracks where even the First's precautions were not enough to save the stone floor, and many water puddles. Evidently, a Water Release user had fought in here recently. In the middle of the arena was a red paint circle, meant as an indicator for the combatants to stay near, so as to allow the spectators to have a better view of the arena. The building was at least 7 stories high, and had a domed ceiling.
On the edges of the arena were bleachers and stands for spectators to gather, and upon those stands were many spectators. It wasn't every day you got to see the Raikage in battle, and many ninja had come purely to show their respect for the Raikage. Takugan took a deep breath. He would need to control himself, so as to not go all-out on a Genin. Holding back was a hard concept for the Raikage, so he had called a medical team to stand by in the stands, just in case the Raikage acted too much on impulse. Finally, the Raikage, with a calm, almost meditative voice, looked at the Genin of the Stone. "Attack when ready. Don't hold back, for to have a chance to defeat me, you will need to come with the intent to kill."

Re: Genin v.s kage
"Well you are a cocky kage, but I guess when you can when you achieve that level of power." Looking at the Raikage for a moment he wondered what would be the best form of action to start off the fight. So he stood there for moments on end as the crowed stood waiting for one of them to make a move mostly looking at the genin for he was the one who ad took this what seemed obviously one sided encounter. "Well I will bow to at least show my respect before, just in case I don't make it out of here.
Looking at the kage for a weakness to his surprise he found non. Searching he had looked him over and over looking for an opening in his open stance but there was nothing not even a sigh of being a little off balance or being taken off guard. With this he stood in his gental fist stance while activating his byakugan. His eye's go from a light outstanding purple to a soulless looking pale white. He also even took the chance to turn on one of his eight gates he learned from the strong fist he was practicing with. Seeing which one would give him the greatest advantage speed he went with "kaimon" the gate of opening. Then he took off his weights when they hit the floor the cracked the stone. Seeing all this was needed he the looked back at the kage but looking toward his chest to avoid eye contact just incase he said "Are you ready Raikage."
Without waiting for a real response knowing he was going to need to move swiftly he flickered toward the kage at a extreme speed which only those of a kage or anbu could obtain. Trying to start with one of his favorite techniques the "gentle first art one blow body." Hoping he had made solid contact he knew even at a kage level if it had hit there would be a sigh of force put on the body at least ripping the clothes and pushing him hack a few feet. So that he could think of his next move while the kage was getting pushed back. Also letting him prep to escape in those moments just in case the kage chose to come with brute force instead of jutsu and tactics.

Re: Genin v.s kage
He'd always loved sparring with the younger warriors of the ninja world, he loved challenging their power and their morals. It allowed him to see the direction in which the world was developing, and it allowed him to have fun, and form a bond with the ninja. The Raikage simply smiled at the accusation of being called cocky, for he could tell that the Genin was comfortable in combat, and he liked that. The Raikage analyzed and scrutinized everything that the Genin did, down to the very last detail, as was his nature. In life and death combat, one could not let a single detail go unnoticed. The Raikage's smile broadened as the other combatant bowed, and he returned the respect, for he did not consider himself above his opponent in any way but power.
As the other combatant analyzed the Raikage, he did the same, picking out every single flaw in the other's stance. He had a found a strong respect for the Genin's courage, as he now stood in front of the Raikage with no hint of fear, with no impulse to run away. He knew this warrior would become powerful one day. It was almost as if he was numb to the Raikage's ability, because while he had already acknowledged his strength, he still, felt no fear. At least none the Takugan could see. His chest rose and fell steadily, and Takugan suddenly became one with the wind. Each and every movement he made was in tandem with the wind, he was graceful, and elegant, and his movements flowed together like a steady brook, babbling down over the rocks and the falls.
Takugan was fairly surprised to see the Byakugan flicker to life in his opponent's eyes, and he chuckled. "Maybe this fight isn't for naught." As the words left his lips, it almost seemed as if they were uttered by the howl of the wind, and not actually from the mouth of the Raikage. He was even more impressed to see the use of the 8 Gates Release, and he smiled as he thought the Genin may be able to reach his own speed, judging it to happen possibly at the 3rd Gate. As the weights crashed to the floor, and the enemy charged, the Raikage lowered himself into a Fighting Horse Stance, lowering his center of gravity so that he could have a balanced and fast defense.
Performing the single hand seal required to activate one of the six seals on his summoning bracers, his chakra blade Katana appeared in his hand from nothingness. The blade was ghostly white, and it almost seemed as if it were supposed to be used as a decorative piece, rather than an invoker of death. But Takugan knew better, for he had slain many with the bloodstained tip of the blade. The bade of the Katana was four feet long, and the hilt was an entire foot. It had white and black cloth wrapped around the handle. Engraved in the blade, just above the hand hand guard was the word resolve. This word meant a lot to Takugan, for it was the basis of the meaning of the Will of Thunder, the will to achieve your dreams and to protect others. To do either, you must have resolve.
Just as his opponent was getting near, the Raikage ripped off his black robes with his right hand, his free hand, and almost as if he were a lion tamer, he threw it at his enemy to obscure his vision, cause him to stumble, and to catch him off guard for his next move. Takugan was not done yet, for he rolled to the left to evade the oncoming charge, and threw three shuriken at his enemy with his right hand, the first two being thrown simultaneously, in a rapid rotation, causing them to curve outward and back in in their flight, gaining speed as they flew, and crossed paths, only to curve back in once more, each directed to hit his opponent's ribs. This made it so side-stepping would not help his opponent. The third shuriken that left the Raikage's hand curved upward, its rotation causing it to curve back down, and sent it on a route to strike the top of his opponent's head, but its arc was not so high that stepping back could save him from being hit. Coupling the curve of the shuriken with the scheduled confusion of the robe being thrown at his opponent, the Raikage would not be sure if a dodge was possible, and was intrigued to see his opponent's move.
Now that the Raikage's robe was removed, his under attire could now be seen. He wore a black undersuit, with black sandals. The black suit was sleeveless like a tank top, and the pants were baggy and wrinkled. The Uchiha clan crest was printed on the left outer thigh of the pants, and it was about as large as his hand. The crowd stood in a hushed silence, wondering what the Genin would do, and the Raikage now stood in a stance that was low, with his right shoulder facing his opponent, his head turned, and his sword drawn across his chest with the tip aimed at his opponent. The sharp cutting part of the blade was facing upward, and the blunt side rested on the thumb of the Raikage's other outsretched hand.

Re: Genin v.s kage
Getting hit with the robe in the face angel didn't know what to do at first but then with his training in mind he had calmed himself down his father had prepared him for this move even more so then in regular fashion. So with a swift look of his byakugan he realized that the kage was no longer in front of him seeing as he was easily able to see through the cloth but to give the impression that the kage had outsmarted him he played the fools part. Just thinking of what his next move could be how he would get out of this dangerous situation.
Seeing as he could see the kage roll to the left he seemed to brace for talking at least some damage from this struggle. He waited for the moment where it would best seem to strike but here the kunai clash together out of his left ear it made it clear to him he was going to have to take the first of who know how many kunai at least to trick his opponent. So as if into a well expected manner he simply seemed to struggle with the removing of the robe that had slung onto his face. Thinking to himself "God this is so fucking annoying, I hope this battle does progress after I activate this next gate." seemingly though he got if off just in time to see the 3 kunai flying toward him at what seemed to be at least 3-5 feet. Knowing he couldn't simply dodge the kunai he got in a much lower stance and readied his 2nd gate. "The gate of healing" which was a odd name for what was about to happen with this he slung toward the kunai and lowered his body nearly as if he was running toward to kunai. So with this bold move he had to take the two beginning kunai to the ribs which was a new pain for him slowing him down for a mere moment but he know that was all it took in a battle to lose the momentum.
So with blood dripping slowly down the kunai he reached to his ribs grabbing the two kunai and instead of wasting his own he threw the two back at the kage to hopefully force him to move the white katana from its ready stance. The first kunai aiming for his lower leg structure to throw off his balance forcing him to step back or even jump slightly and the next aiming far right of the blade to his free arm to see if he could get a relax motion to see what would be his reaction timing. Also noting that thankfully he had lowered himself considerably otherwise the third kunai he was running by would have nailed him straight in the forehead. With all this set up he swiftly thought of the technique the second gate allowed him to use and with pleasure he intended to getting up more speed and power instead of letting the front lotus out of the bag first turn he thought now would be a good time. Seemingly just dropping some of his bandages he let them droop too the floor has he readied himself for this beautiful technique letting out a momentary sigh he throw lunged even quicker at the kage trying to dash behind him to pull of his favorite of the first two gates technique "The Front lotus". Saying smoothly still with no fear in his heart and no shaking in his voice "Here I come kage don't take me that lightly." smirking a little as he seemed to speed up.

Re: Genin v.s kage
He'd made the first mistake. In a fight, those who make the first mistake are those who will lose. After seeing his opponent struggle with the robe, and taking the two shuriken, the Raikage was sure he'd have no troubles winning, even if he didn't use ninjutsu or genjutsu. This kid was too reckless, and he fought to aggressively. While that may help you easily defeat an opponent weaker than you, fighting an opponent who knows what they are doing, and making these kinds of moves would get you killed. If the Raikage had wanted to, he could merely use his Magnet Release and slam the shuriken into the Genin's lungs, effectively ending the fight. The Raikage let his smile fade. He was no longer eager to test this young combatant, for he took the wrong risks.
One could say the Raikage was too hasty in judging the Shinobi before him, but all it took was one screw up... one bad risk, and not only could you get yourself killed, but you could bring about the downfall of your entire nation. He would reluctantly finish this battle with the restraints he had put on himself, trying to avoid using chakra. He wasn't at all happy now, and he was, in fact, disappointed. This could have been an enjoyable battle, where at the end, the two warriors got patched up, and possibly went out and talked about the day's previous events, but now it was nothing more than a test of how much the Raikage's taijutsu skill remained intact. There was no look of surprise on his opponent's face, and the Raikage knew that taking those two shuriken could not have been a mistake.
Takugan read every movement of his opponent, predicting his movements even without his Sharingan, for he'd trained so much with it, he no longer needed its visual enhancements to predict movements, at least not to a minor level. It almost amused Takugan to see his own two shuriken thrown back at him, but why it did, he had no clue. Battle was, in no way, funny. The Raikage angled the blade in a downward diagonal fashion, at the perfect angle to deflect the shuriken with his Katana. In normal circumstances, he's merely deflect them with his Magnet Release, but there was no need, and it would suck what little fun was left in this battle.
His opponent opened the second gate, and Takugan predicted the physical strain would soon become apparent. His opponent would begin to pant, and the strain and pain would begin to take their toll. It was only a matter of time before the kid overexerted himself and dropped to the ground, for the damage of the two shuriken stacked with the second gate would be painful. But there was no denying the raw physical strength and speed that opening these gates could grant you. One could multiply their physical prowess so many times that their abilities became unnatural. It was said that the 8th Gate, the Gate of Death, could destroy mountains with a single punch, and make Taijutsu more damaging than even the most powerful Ninjutsu.
The Genin sprang into motion. With his newly found speed, he was behind the Raikage immediately, and the Raikage noted his speed was almost to that of his own, though nowhere near his maximum when using the chakra of Gyuki. For he was the 8 Tailed Jinchuuriki, a force to be reckoned with, known to the ninja village to be the furthest to progress in mastering his Bijuu, in mastering 4 tails before anyone else had. He'd still have a long way to go in his coming training, but nevertheless, he was succeeding. Quickly, the Raikage realized his thinking was off-track and corrected himself, once more focusing on his enemy.
As the bandages moved to try to tie the Raikage up, he brought his Katana, which was still in its downward diagonal blocking angle, into an upward slash, cutting the bandages before they could restrict his movements. Just as he'd done that, Takugan with his blade pointing directly in the air, Takugan turned on his heals to face the Genin, flipping his grip on his Katana, so that the blade now protruded from the bottom part of his hand. He brought his hand down with a downward stab to the shoulder, which would render the boy's arm useless, were he to be struck. Takugan imagined his reflexes were already slowed from being struck in both sides of his ribs by the shuriken, and wondered if there was a way to dodge.

Re: Genin v.s kage
Thinking to himself "I am in the worst position possible right now.." Looking to find a less drastic measure out of this lose or lose situation he had to think quickly before the blade struck him in his left arm and put him at half power and with the gates activated possible even destroy it for good.. "This was truly an early mistake." Forgetting he wasn't fighting the little jounin or below he could usually dominate with his simple speed and power. This is going to be his greatest challenge yet just simply getting out of this and to land anything after would be a miracle after this risky move.
realizing this was one of his only few options left he knew he had the power to simply kick him back if he corrected his stance somewhat. Letting the blade seem to just simply give him a horrible haircut. "With this i believe i finally hit you kage at least i could accomplish this feat thus far." opining the fourth gate of pain. Seeing as he had two cuts on him already he could feel those with an even more pain sense then before crying out in agony but more like in a battle cry. Still smiling and having a good time learning he wished he could get the kage better into this fight. So with that in mind he swiftly hit upward in a motion so strong that he hopped it stopped the blade or sent it flying out of his hand onto the ground away from the kage. Also with his hands in a upward pushing motion just incase that failed he tried swooping the kage's legs and then dashing away from the danger zone giving him sometime to think if the hit had landed. Also at his current speed and power he knew there was little room to dodge given the small area of combat they where in.
This was his specialty his "Art of war" one might say and simply getting outsmarted by the kage made him feel as he did before annoying and sad that he couldn't do ninjutsu to maybe boost a little change in pace for the battle because clearly he had lost the edge other then simply being faster and stronger at this point. Though realizing that wasn't all you needed in battle some coming out of this a winner or loser he could find himself being more useful and gaining even greater strength.

Re: Genin v.s kage
Sacrifice. Everyone sacrificed something. Whether it was time, love, pain, material possessions... it was different for every person, some less than others, some more. This boy was sacrificing much for this fight. Sacrifice... was possibly the biggest part to success. Without sacrifice, nothing would be achieved. It was simply a fact, there was little reasoning behind it. But there was still little, and the little was, that if you did not sacrifice your time... if you did not sacrifice self indulgences, how would you have the tools to succeed? This boy knew he had to sacrifice. This boy was putting himself through extreme pain to impress the Raikage, and he could tell. Maybe it would pay off.
Takugan had mixed emotions on this, and it seemed he may begin to become more interested in the fight. A Genin able to open four gates was... it was outstanding, and rare. This Genin, Takugan was confident, could defeat any other Genin Takugan knew of. Maybe this fight was not so time wasting... It could prove at least worth the effort to walk to the Arena. His opponent began to counter him, and his eyes became ready.
The opponent's speed was too much. The Raikage could not keep up with him, and he knew it. So rather than trying to defend everything his opponent did, he allowed the sword to be knocked out of his hand, and it went spiraling up into the air. But while this was happening, the Raikage was preparing for the second attack that he knew would come, and as soon as he saw his opponent's legs move, he knew he'd need to get his feet off the ground to avoid being kicked in the lower part of his leg. So, just as his blade left his hand, Takugan cartwheeled to the right, allowing his opponent's leg to sweep beneath his, harmlessly.
Now, Takugan's enemy moved away. It would buy Takugan some time to figure how he would deal with this without jutsu. It took a long time of contemplating, but eventually, Takugan decided on a way to defeat his opponent. These gates would push his opponent to the limit eventually... why waste his own energy? Takugan made no effort to counter-attack and instead waited for him to make his next move.

Re: Genin v.s kage
Angel knew he was at his brink and this next move this very next move would push him to complete body failure. Though he wanted to do something unheard of and with him being able to punch the Raikage straight in the face and cause him to bleed would be perfect even if it meant the total lose of his body till the mecical team could hopefully repair and help him fight once more against the Raikage and his speed. So with only one option left the one thing he swore he would never use unless he was sure he needed too. letting out a sigh and knowing his body only had a minute and 30 seconds left to spar and that would be cut in half if he used this next move he opened it... "GATE OF WONDER!" the young ninja yelled.
Sprinting toward the kage he knew this technique would destroy him and if the kage could take him off the field he would be proud of himself. then forming a hand sign that looks like a tiger he yelled "Daytime Tiger!" With the sprint he was in the kage's face in no time and with all the strength he had left he used the technique and aimed straight at the kage's face and didn't let up till either he passed him or his punch landed. "This is my finally move kage it was a pleasure sparring with you." Angel said as he tried striking the kage and his face passed by his ear.
With that Angel knew he was done no matter what happened the fight was over he couldn't hold that gate open any longer and he would collapse after this blow failure or success he just wished he was stronger so he could have kept the kage more excited about the fight. Also so he could try and force the kage to use a jutsu at least but he was happy for some reason and finally he let all his fear and happiness flow out. "Thank you." he said one last time as he started to close his eyes.
