Training Jackal

The master and student meet on a beach covered in a dense fog.

"Thank you for teaching me Toru-sensei, i've decided if you're gonna train me you at least deserve to know my real name... it's akira glory. i'd like to request that you don't share that with anyone i forsake that name long ago short of you and mizukage-sama no one else knows that. now where do we start?"

"OK, Akira. I promise to keep this secret, and remember this. When I am told to keep something secret, I keep it kept until I find myself 6 feet under and encased by a wooden box." Toru stops... but then continues. "Akira, I see that you can one day become a legendary
Hunter-Ninja (btw hunter-nin are the ANBU of the hidden mist village) like myself. So if you are to ever become like me you must first learn powerful jutsu, the first jutsu is called 'Water Clone Jutsu'.

"water clone jutsu? i've seen this technique used before i've always wanted to learn it, what do i need to do?"

[UchihaH8r]

"This stance has 3 steps. Make a tiger sign with your hands. Then focus on your chakra. Finally you imagine your chakra being in another location." Toru then demonstrates by making a tiger sign and having a water clone appear next to him. "Now you try," he said. "It is harder than it seems."

"sounds simple enough, how hard could it be?" jackal makes the tiger sign and focuses his chakra in the area right next to him, some water appeared there but then fell "damn, this really is hard!"

"Yea, learning this jutsu is a real pain, but once you figure it out you feel really good about yourself. Anyways, there IS a balance between the amount of water nature chakra and regular chakra that you use for creating each clone. In addition it helps some people to do this jutsu by imagining themselves where they want the clone as well as focusing on their chakra."

"ok i can do it this time" jackal focused his chakra next to him and did the tiger sign, chakra swirled around him and finally a clone started shaping and just as it was near completion it fell again "DAMNIT! ok one more time here we go!" Jackal tried it again, the chakra swirled just as before and finally the clone was made "YES! but i still gotta practice it it's taking me to long to make it"

"Very good! Now try making 5 at once."

"FIVE AT ONCE? but i was barely able to make 1. ok i can do this! here we go" he used the tiger seal "Water release: water clone jutsu!" it took a little bit but jackal was only able to make two

"Well you got two, it's progress. However it's not good enough! You will eventually have to be able to create 20 clones at once. Anyways, I am going to get lunch. Also, if you manage to create five, try to get 10 after that!"

Jackal kept practicing after his teacher had left "Why can't i get this! Water release: water clone jutsu!" finally after sometime he had gotten up to 5, from there things got much easier he had learned to control his chakra much better than before a couple hours later and he finally had done it! "WATER RELEASE: WATER CLONE JUTSU!" 20 clones had appeared but then disappeared as hiro passed out from losing all his chakra and exhaustion....

Toru finally came back about 2 hours later and was greeted by a smiling Jackal.

"Have you completed what I have asked you then Jackal?" Toru asked. "Well if you believe your clones are good enough make one for me to expect. If I approve it then you can have lunch."

"ok here i go Water release: water clone jutsu!" a clone appeared next to jackal

"Hmm, it sure looks ok but... looks can be deceiving." Toru then poked the clone with one finger very lightly and it stood firm. "Very good Jackal. Now, can you do jutsu with your clones? Also, can you control them to a good degree?"

"Ha we'll show you" knowing that with his skill toru would easily be able to handle this jackal and his clone ran to either side of him "water release: water bullet jutsu!" each of them fired 3 water water bullets at toru

The bullets hit Toru and then there was a puddle on the ground, it was a water clone.

"Nice job Jackal," Toru had jumped out from no where. "Just remember who is real and who is fake when you are on the battle field. Also, I think you have a good understanding of water clones but you still don't understand all of the strategies that they are used for. This is good though Jackal, so I pass you for learning this jutsu."

2nd Training Session

Toru and Jackal came back out to the beach with the same fog surrounding them.

"OK, Jackal. The Water Whip Jutsu is a technique used to restrain a target. With it, you can bind a target's hands and move them somewhere without them resisting you. Also, this technique is good for combat because you can grab people's appendages and keep them where you want. The hand signs for this jutsu are as follows, Rat → Dog → Ox, once you do this you simply focus your chakra to a place you want or you can tag someone in the heat of battle with your hand and a rope will appear from the palm of your hand," Toru then makes the signs to demonstrate and shoots a rope of water right at a tree.

"ok i think i can do that, the water clone jutsu gave me better chakra control so this should be easy" Rat-Dog-Ox "water release: water whip jutsu!" the water forms a kind of rope and goes towards the tree but falls short "obviously this requires a little more chakra control than the clone"

"Ha, don't get down on yourself. Just imagine yourself holding a rope in your hands when doing this, then imagine the tickling of water touching your skin as it flows towards it's location."

"ok here i go" Rat-Dog-Ox "Water release: water whip jutsu!" the water actually wraps around the tree and seems to hold but is very weak and falls again within a few seconds "Damn!"

"Jackal!" Toru does hand signs and then a rope forms from his hands. Then, the water envelopes Jackal, "Feel the power of the jutsu, feel it's strength." Toru then tightens the rope and then releases it. "You must feel it's strength if you ever want to master this jutsu, understand how it must feel for the person ensnared in it."

"yes sensei!" Rat-Dog-Ox "water release: water whip jutsu!" the water wrapped around a tree and actually held there it felt strong "I THINK I DID IT SENSEI!"

[UchihaH8r]

"Nice work, you have the makings of an ANBU and maybe even something greater. We are done here today. When I think it is time to train again I will get you." Toru then disappeared into the mist out of sight from Jackal.
